I like coming to CrossFit because of all the fun games that get me really sweaty.
I like learning about eating the right foods to help my muscles grow and keep me fit and healthy.
The support you get from the coaches and other members is second to none and as everything is scalable, there really isn't an excuse for anyone not to join. I've seen huge changes in myself both physically and mentally. I'm much fitter than I've ever been and much more confident in my own physical ability. If someone had asked me a few years ago if I'd be doing weight lifting in a gym with no crosstrainers I'd have laughed. Now I can't imagine ever going back to a normal type of gym.
Wow, where do I start! From the expertise and positive attitude of the coaches, to the REAL friendly community feel you get both inside and away from the box, it's just 2nd to none. Without meaning to sound like somewhat of a cliché, I genuinely do feel part of something amazing and that feeling alone is worth so much.
My biggest regret is that I didn’t pluck up the courage and join sooner! Probably the biggest changes so far for me have been mentally, I have low self-esteem and anxiety and I think being in an environment which such a great community spirit, and realising since joining CSC that you don’t have to be an elite athlete to feel good about your achievements has been a massive boost.
Physically I have lost weight and a dress size my clothes feel much better and I feel more toned. I love the community spirit at Crossfit everyone in so welcoming, everyone wants to help each other succeed and push to do better. I found you don’t get that anywhere else, the gym was boring and I never pushed myself to the level that crossfit has made me do.
This place is amazing and I have and will continue to encourage anyone I know to come down and see for themselves. I had just had a baby before I started CrossFit, I have most definitely lost most of my baby weight now, and I feel stronger and fitter than I ever have. I love every single element of CrossFit. I love the programmes and how each day is a different workout.
Having previously experienced a couple of CrossFit boxes around the country I was looking for particular requirements which I have certainly found at CSC. Firstly, CrossFit is very much about the community and at CSC there is none better. All members are great fun and supportive whether its team training on a Saturday or squatting heavy on a Wednesday. Secondly for anyone trying to improve their fitness it’s all about the training and the WODs at CSC are very well structured, enjoyable and testing. Thirdly the coaching at CSC is excellent. Coaches will support your training all the way and ensure that if you need improvement even during the WODs that it is given!
I find all the staff and members extremely friendly and very encouraging. Not something I have experienced at other gyms I have attended. There is no focus on “how do I look” which can be off putting to new members. Since starting at CSC, I have found I have a lot more confidence, not just at CSC but in my everyday life. I feel less stressed in my work place (which has been noticed by my colleagues).
