How long have you been coming to Central Staffs Crossfit.....

I did my foundations in Feb 2015 with my husband and sister and have been coming ever since.

What was your background in Fitness or Sport before you joined at CSC.........

I'd always been a member of a gym but had always stuck to cardio and classes such as spin. I'd honestly never picked up a barbell before in my life before CSC.

How did you hear about Crossfit.....& how did you hear about CSC specifically....

A few friends had joined and had pretty much only talked to me about how much they loved it since they started. I had a look on the Internet at what crossfit was all about and liked the look of it...although I did think it might kill me I'm a big fan of pushing myself so thought I'd give it a go.

What do you enjoy the most about Crossfit at CSC.....

I love how varied the classes are, the fact that you never know what you are going to be doing until you get there is great for me as it means I can't miss the things I hate! The coaching is fantastic, it's almost like personal training as the classes are kept small, especially when you first start as making sure you have good technique on lifts is number one priority to the coaches before you add any weight.

What changes have you seen physically and mentally within yourself since you started at CSC.....

I've seen huge changes in myself both physically and mentally. I'm much fitter than I've ever been and much more confident in my own physical ability. If someone had asked me a few years ago if I'd be doing weight lifting in a gym with no cross-trainers I'd have laughed. Now I can't imagine ever going back to a normal type of gym.

Would you recommend CSC + CF to friends, family & others......... If yes why....

Absolutely and I have! I am also conscious of trying not to be one of those crossFit people who just rants on about CrossFit but I must be failing miserably as I've already converted quite a few people I know to come and join.

The support you get from the coaches and other members is second to none and as everything is scalable, there really isn't an excuse for anyone not to join.
