Omega 3

Our Omega-3 fish oil contains both ‘docosahexaenoic acid’ (DHA) and ‘eicosapentaenoic acid’ (EPA) and packed full fatty acids. These fatty acids are important for a number of functions in the body and are essential nutrients that are important in preventing and managing heart disease.

Some benefits that Omega 3 may help with are:

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Reduce triglycerides

  • Slow the development of plaque in the arteries

Glucosamine

Glucosamine plays a vital role in building your cartilage and many people take it as a supplement to treat arthritis and osteoarthritis. As we age, cartilage can become less flexible and can steadily breakdown, some evidence suggests that glucosamine might slow this process, but it can it may also help to:

  • Reduce pain caused by osteoarthritis (OA)

  • Reduce joint pain and swelling in areas such as the knee

  • Reduce stiffness in the lower back

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is sometimes called the “sunshine vitamin” because it’s produced in your skin in response to sunlight. It’s part of the family that includes vitamins D-1, D-2, and D-3.

Vitamin D and has several important functions, including regulating the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, and facilitating normal immune system function. Getting a sufficient amount of vitamin D is important for normal growth and development of bones and teeth, as well as improving resistance against certain diseases. If your body doesn’t get enough vitamin D, you’re at risk of developing bone abnormalities such as soft bones (osteomalacia) or fragile bones (osteoporosis). And some benefits that Vitamin can help also include:

  • helping the body in fighting disease

  • increasing the strength of your immune system

  • combatting  depression

  • boosting weights loss

  • decreasing your chance of developing heart disease

Whey Protein

Protein is an important part of our diet and key to building and maintaining all types of body tissue, including muscle. It contains amino acids which are the building blocks used for muscle growth.

Whey Protein is water-soluble milk protein that is popular among athletes. It is a complete protein, meaning that it contains all of the amino acids that the human body requires from food. The body absorbs whey protein quickly and easily.

  • Some benefits that protein powder may help with are:

  • supporting muscle growth

  • aiding recovery after exercise

  • help reduce body fat mass in people who are overweight or obese
